If you’ve been living with chronic pain or the same stubborn tension that keeps coming back, this is how I approach treatment.

When your body has been holding tension for months or even years, it can start to feel like that tightness is simply part of you.

Certain muscles may continually tighten and compensate, creating a familiar holding pattern.

Massage can help, but with chronic tension, treatment is only one piece of the puzzle.

My approach is to look at where your body is holding tension and which muscles may need more specific attention. From there, we can focus treatments on those areas while introducing simple, targeted mobility exercises to practice at home.

The key is consistency. ✨

A few minutes of specific mobility each day, combined with a series of focused treatments, can help your body explore new ways of moving and gradually let go of old patterns.

It’s not about forcing your body to change.

It’s about retraining it through movement, awareness, and consistent care.

Part of this process may involve working within areas of discomfort. I may guide you to stay with those sensations for a period of time that can feel unfamiliar at first, but is often key in helping the body release and unlock deeper patterns of tension.

If you’ve been dealing with the same stubborn areas of tension over and over, this is something we can work on together.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms, future moms, mother figures, and nurturing souls.

Today, we celebrate the women who love deeply, support endlessly, nurture gently, and carry so much strength within them. Your presence, care, and love leave a lasting impact in the lives of those around you in ways that are often unseen, yet deeply felt.

May today be a reminder of how valued, appreciated, and important you truly are.
I hope you allow yourself moments of rest, softness, connection, and joy not only today, but every day.

Wishing you a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love, warmth, presence, and meaningful moments with the people who matter most ✨

This Saturday May 9th I’ll be at the Équinoxe race offering free massage therapy for both adults and kids.

For this event, the focus will be on sports massage, a technique specifically adapted to movement and physical activity. Unlike a full treatment session, sports massage is targeted, efficient, and designed to support the body before and after activity.

Pre-race massage helps to:

* Warm up muscles
* Increase circulation
* Improve mobility and readiness

Post-race massage focuses on:

* Releasing tension
* Supporting recovery
* Reducing soreness and fatigue

Each session will be short, focused, and adapted to your needs in the moment. whether you’re preparing to perform, recovering after your race, or simply needing a reset.

This offering is by donation, with the intention of making care accessible while gently introducing therapeutic massage to children, and offering adults a chance to experience its benefits.

👉 Please complete the intake form prior to your session to ensure a smooth and safe experience.

Massage therapy to me, is more than just treatment…
it’s a space to slow down and come back to yourself.

So often we move through life in our heads, pushing through tension without truly listening to what our body needs.

In my space, there’s nothing to explain or perform.
You don’t even need to talk, just a quiet moment to be, to feel, and to reconnect.

Because when the body feels safe, it knows how to release.

I’ve opened a few extra spots this weekend.
If you’ve been needing a pause, this is your invitation 💖

Yes… kids can benefit from massage too!
And here’s why;

Kids grow fast, move a lot, and feel deeply, massage helps support them through it all!

Relaxation
Helps calm busy minds, improve sleep, and reduce stress (yes, kids feel it too!)

Boundaries
Teaches consent, body awareness, and respect for personal space.

Healthy touch
Supports emotional connection, safety, and nervous system regulation.

Injuries & recovery
Great for active kids — helps with strains, tension, and overuse.

Pain relief
Can ease growing pains, headaches, and muscular discomfort.

Prevention
Supports posture, flexibility, and healthy development early on.

Small care today can make a big difference in how they feel, move, and grow tomorrow!

Deep tissue massage is not the same as hard pressure.

True deep tissue work is slow and intentional. The body has multiple layers of fascia and muscle, and each layer needs time to soften and release before we can safely work deeper.

If we simply press harder or rush through the body, the nervous system often responds by tightening and protecting the tissues, which actually makes the work less effective.

This is why a true deep tissue treatment is difficult to fully achieve in only 60 minutes when treating the whole body.

Ideally, deeper work benefits from longer treatments or focusing on a specific area (like upper body or lower body) so the tissues have time to release properly.

Deep tissue is not about force!
it’s about time, patience, and working with the body, not against it.
