Pretty lashes for those pretty eyes!

Such a pretty classic wet set!

These lashes are over 6 weeks old!
How you ask? There are a number of things that happened here to cause great retention.
She doesn’t wear makeup and therefore doesn’t have to aggressively clean her lashes.
She keeps her lashes clean, notice how all those fans are still open and fluffy.
She came to her fill with more than 50% remaining and I am always able to get her back to 100%.
This is probably the biggest one. She doesn’t rub her eyes, sleep on her lashes and she doesn’t pick at them.
Great retention is something that we achieve together!

It doesn’t matter how long I have been doing lashes. Preparing for a custom artistic set is something that is very important to me. I took about an hour preparing for the up coming set. Doing it on the sponge allows me to see how the transitions work together, how many layers I needed, if the bases are strong enough. This was fun! Would you ever try coloured lashes?

How are we feeling about texture? I love using it to create the illusion of length when a client might not have strong enough natural lashes for the length she desires. Would you try a texture set?
