The best & most inexpensive method for growing your natural lashes is Castor Oil. It retails for about $10 on Amazon. At night take a clean spoolie and use Castor Oil on your brows & lashes in order to make them stronger & longer. If you are wearing extensions DO NOT use Castor Oil, as oil breaks down the adhesive.

WHY ARE MY EYES BURNING? 🔥

As a Lash Artist or client, you've either heard or asked this question. There are many different reasons as to why your eyes may burn during or after your eyelashes extension appointment.

First, if your eyes are slightly open while the extensions are being applied, the fums from the glue may cause your eyes to burn. For clients who frequently talk or laugh during their appointment this tends to happen a lot. It's also the same reason why lash artists can't do their own lashes or put the glue ring too close to our eyes- the glue fumes are too strong! Another reason may be because the gel pads and tape holding down your lower lashes were tapped past your waterline. This irritation can cause your eyes to also be really red after your appointment.

If extensions are burning AFTER the lash appointment it can be due to a variety of causes. One is that the client did not take proper care of their lashes, leading to build up of dirt and oil on their lash line. Another reason might be that the lash artist did not APPLY the extensions correctly. The extension was placed blocking the hair follicle or one extension was placed on multiple natural lashes (poor isolation). Because your lashes are growing at different rates it can cause clients pain, discomfort, & burning. You can use eye drops 24 hours after your appointment to help with redness and irritation. It is also possible that you had an allergic reaction to the adhesive used and need to book an immediate removal.

It's really really REALLY important you go to a lash artist who not only knows what they're doing, but educates their clients on proper maintenance. ♡
