My Story

Hi !

I’m Jacqueline, the Natural Makeup Artist behind the brand, Urban Daisy.

Urban Daisy was created when I became increasingly aware of how many products I was coming into contact with every single day. From makeup and skincare products to household cleaners, I started mentally tallying up the chemicals I was constantly surrounded by, not to mention the amount of garbage I was producing from tossing out plastic packaging. When I learned that 60% of what we put on our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream, I knew I needed to make a change to my lifestyle, evolve from the way I was contributing to careless waste, and stop using products that contain synthetic substances and poisonous chemicals.

Passionately I feel it is my duty to educate consumers about the many toxins we come into contact with everyday. Providing natural cosmetics and skincare, creates an environmentally conscience population and will reduce waste consumption, improve greenhouse gas emissions, and grows the local economy. Green beauty is a wholesome and responsible way of living and I truly believe that a movement can be made that creates a healthier earth.
