There was a time when I thought manifestation meant constantly thinking about what I wanted.

Visualizing it.
Planning it.
Worrying about it.
Trying to force it.

Now I’ve learned something different.

The moment I stopped obsessing over the outcome and started trusting the process, things began to move.

Not because I stopped working.
Not because I stopped believing.

But because I finally surrendered.

I’ve learned to do my part, stay aligned with my values, follow the nudges, and then let go.

To trust that what is meant for me will find its way to me in the right timing, for the highest good of everyone involved.

And honestly?

When I look around at what has materialized over the past year—the opportunities, the people, the experiences, the growth—I am in awe.

Not all of it came when I wanted it to.
But so much of it arrived exactly when I needed it.

Faith isn’t passive.
Faith is continuing to move forward while trusting that you don’t have to carry the entire weight of the outcome.

Let go.
Let God.
Trust the unfolding.

This morning I was reflecting on the word rumination.

For years, I thought something was wrong with me because I couldn’t “just let things go.” But what I’ve come to understand is that sometimes rumination isn’t overthinking at all—it’s a nervous system trying to make sense of something that doesn’t make sense.

Trauma, betrayal, loss, and emotional shock can leave us searching for answers. Our minds keep revisiting the experience, trying to understand what happened and restore a sense of safety.

The healing journey isn’t always about asking, “Why did this happen to me?” Sometimes it’s about asking, “What is this experience teaching me about myself?”

There is a difference between rumination and meaning-making.

One keeps us stuck in the story.
The other helps us integrate the lesson.

Healing doesn’t mean forgetting. It means the memory no longer controls the nervous system.

✨ Still Coming Down From an Incredible Weekend!

Wow… I am still trying to come down from the amazing Restore & Rise Retreat hosted by Erin Liberty of High Vibe Living and the team at Water’s Edge by Liberty.

I had the absolute pleasure of pampering some of the guests throughout the weekend with Reiki sessions, Reiki head and foot massages, and full Reiki body massage. It was such an honour to hold space for so many beautiful souls as they took time to rest, restore, and reconnect with themselves.

On Saturday evening, Erin guided the group through a powerful activation meditation. Following the meditation, Candise and I carried the experience deeper through sound healing. I played the crystal singing bowls while Candise worked with tuning forks, creating a truly magical and transformative experience.

I honestly cannot explain how deeply the guests journeyed. It took quite some time to gently bring everyone back into full body awareness. Candise continued striking the Root Chakra tuning fork, I played the Root Bowl, and together we guided them with our voices, we slowly invited everyone back into the room.

At one point, we were looking at each other thinking, “They are all “gone”! 😂

The depth of peace, stillness, and surrender in the room was unlike anything I have witnessed in a long time. It was beautiful, humbling, and a powerful reminder of what can happen when people feel safe enough to let go and receive.

My deepest gratitude to Erin and Joe Liberty, the High Vibe Living community, my soul sister Candise, and all of the wonderful guests who trusted us to be part of their journey this weekend.

My heart is so full ♥️

Hi, I’m Lori Dawson and I’m a Spiritual Wellness Practitioner, utilizing metaphysical approaches to stress reduction and management through Reiki, Crystal Healing, Meditation, and Sound Bath practices.

I’ve been a resident of Chatham for 4 years (2026) originally born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and growing up in Stoney Creek.

As a certified Reiki Master, Crystal Healing Practitioner, and Aesthetician, I integrate all my practices into my sessions for an unparalleled relaxation experience. Additionally, I’m trained in Swedish Relaxation Massage, which focuses on releasing muscle tension for ultimate relaxation. The Reiki infused massage is a client favourite!

✨ Little Light Keepers ✨

A Children’s Energy Awareness & Self-Care Class

Offered through YOUNiversal Healing

Little Light Keepers is a gentle, heart-centered class designed for children ages 5–10 to explore energy awareness, and self-calming tools in a safe, creative environment.

This is not a formal Reiki certification class and does not include attunements or traditional Reiki symbol training. Instead, children are introduced to the foundational principles of Reiki energy in a playful, age-appropriate way that supports confidence, grounding, and inner safety.

In this class, children will learn:

✨ Simple grounding techniques
✨ Breath awareness for calming big feelings
✨ Gentle self-hand placements for relaxation
✨ How to notice and describe energy in their own words
✨ Creative visualization exercises
✨ How to design their own personal “power symbol” using imagination

Rather than teaching traditional Reiki symbols, each child will be guided to create a symbol that represents calm, courage, kindness, or strength — something uniquely theirs. This encourages self-trust, creativity, and internal empowerment.

The focus of Little Light Keepers is confidence in their own inner light. Through movement, storytelling, art, and experiential learning, children are supported in understanding that the “light” they carry is already within them. This class provides tools they can use at home, at school, or anytime they need to feel steady and safe.
