Pedicure for seniors is not only about beauty, but also about health.
With age, nails become thicker, may cause discomfort and ingrown nails.
Regular care helps prevent these issues, and a specialist can assess the feet, notice potential problems early, and give proper recommendations.

Recommendation for a pedicure tech:
I’ve mentioned this before, but I want to highlight it again 🙌
‼️I don’t recommend machine cuticle work for seniors.
Their skin is very thin and can be easily injured.

I recommend only classic cuticle care — very gentle.
The main focus should be on the nail plate, as it often becomes thickened and causes discomfort.
Cuticle care is secondary — just for gentle removal of excess callus.

Педикюр для людей старшого віку — це не лише про красу, а й про здоров’я.
З віком нігті потовщуються, можуть вростати та викликати дискомфорт.
Регулярний догляд допомагає уникнути цих проблем, а спеціаліст під час процедури оглядає стопу, вчасно помічає можливі ускладнення та дає рекомендації.

Вони уважно прислухаються до рекомендацій, бо хочуть уникнути болю та проблем.
А ще це люди з великим життєвим досвідом — їх завжди цікаво слухати, і вони дарують багато тепла та позитиву.

Рекомендація для майстрів педикюру:
‼️Я не рекомендую апаратну обробку кутикули для людей старшого віку.
Їхня шкіра дуже тонка і легко травмується.

Рекомендую лише класичну обробку — максимально обережно.
Основна увага має бути на нігтьовій пластині, адже вона часто потовщена і викликає дискомфорт.
Кутикула — це вже другорядне, лише для делікатного очищення від зайвого загрубіння.
