✨ 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠, 𝗡𝗘𝗜𝗞𝗔! ✨

Some of you may recognize this familiar face around Twisted Roots Salon! Neika officially joined us on June 30th during summer break, September she is back continuing her schooling through the CSS Hair Program at VCC. 💚✂️

But for me, this one is a little extra special… Neika is my niece! 🥹

Many of you may remember her popping into the salon over the years while she was growing up—helping clean up, assisting wherever she could, and spending time around the salon. And now, watching her grow into the hair world herself is pretty amazing. She’s inspired, eager to learn, and ready to start building her own path in this industry.

At Twisted Roots, we believe in giving our students a safe place to learn, practice, and gain confidence while they continue their education. 💚 She will not be available for online booking at this time, so that we can manage the type of appointments being booked :)

As Neika continues developing her skills, we are keeping her pricing and services within areas where she can feel confident and successful:

✂️ 𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘀: Simple cuts, shoulder length and below. We’re holding off on shorter, more technical cuts while she builds experience.

🎨 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿: She can take on most colour services, but no colour corrections at this time.

🫧 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗼 + 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗿𝘆: Neika would LOVE to have you in her chair for a relaxing wash and beautiful blow dry!

🌿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗮: She is also trained in our HEAD SPA! Come relax and enjoy a soothing scalp massage while she continues perfecting her skills.

On September 27th, I’ll be taking part in the Walk of Hope in Abbotsford in honor of my beautiful mom, Brenda Tomani 🩵

I’ve created a Twisted Roots team, and I would love to have friends, family, clients, coworkers, and anyone who wants to support us join our team!

I’m walking in memory of my mom, but I’m also walking for all the warriors who are currently fighting, for the families standing beside them, and for all those who have lost someone they love.🩵

This walk is about hope, strength, remembrance, and coming together for those who are going through something no family should have to face.
