Too often, people place all the emphasis on obedience, structure, and constant engagement when bringing puppies into new environments—while overlooking the importance of curiosity, exploration, and simply learning how to exist in the world.
Puppies aren’t robots, they’re developing animals with natural instincts to investigate, problem-solve, and gather information through their environment.
Obedience and structure matter—but they shouldn’t come at the expense of confidence building and healthy exploration. New environments are more than training opportunities. They’re chances for young dogs to observe, process, sniff, move, and build resilience through experience.
Good training isn’t about controlling every moment and behavior. It’s about knowing when to guide, and when to step back and let the dog learn on its own!

Pack Walks Are Back!
Client Appreciation Pack Walk, June 7th at 3:00pm at Bowness Park.
This walk is for past and current clients only!
Get together with other like minded dog owners for a trainer led pack walk around beautiful Bowness Park, we will address individual questions, work on training exercises and of course socialize and have fun!

We are in search of:
- Full Time Kennel Technician
-Able to cover additional shifts if needed.
-Potential for full time opportunity
Beyond learning how to care for and safely handle dogs with varying behavioural issue, you will have the opportunity to get valuable coaching and hands on training experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Ensuring the the dogs are fed and watered
* Administering medication as needed
* Providing exercise and enrichment for the dogs
* Ensuring cleanliness of the kennels and the training spaces, which includes removing waste from yard, daily kennel room cleaning etc.
* Basic grooming
* Wellness monitoring
* Assisting trainers in sessions
*taking photo/video updates
We are looking for some who is:
* Passionate about dogs and has an aspiration to grow in the industry; this job could be the first step to becoming a trainer as part of our team
* Confident in handling dogs of varying sizes and temperaments
* Detail oriented and organized
* A self-starter and problem solver
* Excited and open to learn
* Friendly and outgoing
* Physically fit
* Flexible; this job will require evenings and weekends
* Experience with dogs is an asset
What we offer:
* One-on-one training and support to help you reach your goals
* Small, casual team
* A hands-on learning experience
$18.00/hour starting wage
