Mindful Wellness
It's a two-way street into physical healing, your mind and body have to work together.

👋🏼 Hi, I’m Steph
I am the founder and owner of Mindful Wellness. I’ve been practicing massage and lymphatic drainage for 4 years now and it’s the best career move I’ve made. I graduated massage school from Vicars School of Massage in 2022 and immediately started my journey in lymphatic drainage. I’ve completed all three levels at Chikly Institute and have had the honor of treating clients in Cochrane.
My goal is simple: I’ll support you in your journey of becoming your best self. A typical treatment encompasses this goal. I’ll be there to listen, encourage, challenge or be a soft place to land in whatever season you are going through. Plus, you’ll get extra support from Charlie. He’s a 3 year old Cavapoo that absolutely loves belly rubs.
So if you’re looking for a relaxation massage, lymphatic drainage, or someone that will listen, I’ll be here for you. Can’t wait to see you in the treatment room. 🤍

We take care of everyone and everything around us but somehow, we’re often the last thing on our own list.
Consider this your reminder to listen to your body before it has to shout.
May your coffee be hot, may your massage appointments be booked and may something unbelievable fantastic happen to you today. ♥️
Which time would you arrive? 👇🏼
Here it is. 👇🏼
Why do muscles always get tight again after a massage?
It’s a simple answer..
✨The tightness is a symptom not the cause. ✨
Here’s the thing, if you don’t do anything in between massage appointments like strengthening exercises or stretches, the tension often comes right back.
You spend hours at a desk, lift your kids, train hard at the gym, deal with stress, or have repetitive movements at work, your muscles are constantly adapting to those demands. Without the right recovery, strengthening exercises or stretches, your body goes back to its familiar tension.
I often give out homecare after a massage. This could look like tricks to self massage, opening lymph nodes, specific exercises and foam rolling techniques. I’m here to get you feeling your best! ♥️
This is what I personally do every morning and it makes the day start off on the right foot.
1. Morning sunshine or walk. ☀️
Starting the day in fresh air helps regulate the nervous system and set your circadian rhythm.
2. Read!! 📚
It can be a book, meditation book, the Bible, just get your brain going.
3. Workout. 🏋🏽♀️
I workout 3-4x a week in the basement with . Been following her and her programs for well over a decade now. Working out gets the blood flowing, stabilizing blood sugar, wakes up the body, decreases joint stiffness, increases energy.
4. Eat a high protein breakfast. 🍳
My personal favorite is Greek yogurt with a scoop of protein powder topped with raspberries, walnuts and cinnamon.
5. Lymphatic drainage nodal pumping ♥️
I quickly open up my lymph nodes in the collarbone, behind the ear, in the tummy, armpits, inner thighs and behind the knees. This gets my lymph flowing and my digestive system kick started as well.
And that’s it! 5 simple tasks to do every morning to make your day that much better. Leave a comment below if you try any of these! Have a beautiful day.

Why did I go to massage school?
Was I really pregnant starting massage school?
Who knew how much laundry an RMT would have to do. 🤷🏻♀️
