I’m Tanessa, founder of Blonde Culture, and I’m so excited to officially be bringing Blonde Culture 2.0 home.

I’ve been behind the chair since 2012. Originally from Winnipeg, I spent 7 years building my career here before moving to Alberta, where I opened Blonde Culture 5 years ago. Thanks to my incredible team, that salon continues to thrive while I take on this exciting new chapter back in my hometown.

Now it’s time for Blonde Culture 2.0.

You’ll find us at 1732 Corydon Avenue, where we’re currently renovating the space to create the same luxury experience Blonde Culture is known for with a few fresh touches unique to Winnipeg.

Our doors officially open to clients on August 4th, and I truly can’t wait to welcome you in.

We’re also growing our team! If you’re a passionate hairstylist looking for a supportive, education-focused salon to call home, we’d love to connect.

I know commission isn’t for everyone, and neither is chair rental.

But for the vision I had for Blonde Culture, commission made the most sense. It allows us to provide more support, create a stronger team culture, and deliver a consistent experience for our clients.

Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for our salon.
