Hello Walking & Hiking Crew!

It looks like Mother Nature may be bringing us another rainy Sunday, so we’ll keep this week’s adventure a little closer to home and head to Griffith Woods.

Rain or shine, we’ll get outside, enjoy some fresh air, and share some great company along the way. Hope to see you there! 🌲🥾☕️

Today’s walk may have included a few comments about the rain and wind, but that’s all part of the adventure.

We walked, we laughed, and most importantly, we got out there.

The troopers you see in this photo are truly sensational people that I’m proud to call friends. Rain, wind, or sunshine, they always show up.

Moral of the story: Always have people in your life who will walk in the rain with you. ☔️❤️👟

This weekend’s walk will be local! ☕🌧️

An easy way to get outside without a huge commitment. We checked the weather, and it sounds like we may get a good amount of precipitation — but we’ll still get out for a walk and warm up with coffee afterwards.

Join us Sunday, May 24th for a fun day out on one of Kananaskis’ favourite local trails ☀️

Fullerton Loop is a mostly easy hike with wide paths and very well-signed directions when completed counter-clockwise. Taking the trail this way gives you a more gradual incline before leading into a steeper — but still very manageable — descent, even without poles. Along the way you’ll enjoy beautiful mountain and valley views 🌄

This trail is more about the overall experience than big lookout points. The changing scenery, forest sections, and peaceful surroundings make it a fantastic hike close to home 🌿

A beautiful walk along the river in Canmore, a bear safety course, and then the Brother, Son, Sister Moon hike in Cochrane on Mother’s Day . What a great mix of adventure, learning, and fresh mountain air!

Mother’s Day Local Sunday Walk – May 10th 🌿

Join us for a refreshing morning walk on Sunday, May 10th in celebration of Mother’s Day!

We’ll be heading out to the Brother Son hiking trail in Cochrane for some fresh air, movement, and good company. All are welcome—bring your mom, your family, or just yourself and enjoy the morning outdoors.
