The Stylist

A year ago today, I went off on mat leave.
A year ago today, I left my little chair behind, walked out the doors, and stepped into the unknown. Little did I know that the next year would be the most transformative one yet… and just 17 days later, I became a mom.

I don’t think I truly understood the depth of change motherhood would bring. Before the title of “mom,” work was my life. Between school, nursing, and hairstyling, I was always busy… but rarely present.

The girl who left her chair that day is not the same girl standing here today. Rushed mornings have turned into slow, sleepy cuddles. Long overnights and extended hair appointments have turned into nighttime feedings and rocking. Time off is nonexistent… but the love is overflowing.

I’ve traded my apron for bibs and my scissors for tiny hands wrapped around my finger.

I miss you all so very much and I miss being behind that chair..I WILL be back. But I’m not quite ready yet.

I’m not ready to trade these quiet mornings, these long nights, and these cuddles just yet. For now, I’m savoring them. When I return, I want to give you the very best of me..but right now, I’m giving my all to her.

I hope my beautiful clients have a very Merry Christmas, and I’ll see you sometime in 2026 🤍

An update:

I am officially on the home stretch of my pregnancy and expecting baby girl in the upcoming weeks. 🤎

To all my clients past, present and future; thank you for your unwavering support of these past 9 years. Especially during this past year as I navigated many challenges, graduating nursing school, experiencing a pregnancy loss, and being incredibly sick during this pregnancy, your patience and supports have not gone unnoticed, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. 🤗

My dms are always open, if you have any questions or need anything while i’m off. And I will post here when I return. Until then, the lovely gals at are eagerly waiting to assist you while i’m off!

I look forward to this new journey of motherhood, and to getting back behind the chair again soon.

Fusion hair extensions, aka k-tips, keratin bonds, bonded extensions etc are hair enhancements that are applied using heat and keratin ( that hard protein your hair and nails are made up of 👩🏻‍🔬 ) that wrap around a small section of your hair- to create length, thickness or both!

✨They can be customized according to your colour, hair density and thickness.
✨ They last in the hair anywhere from 3-6 months with proper care.
✨ They can be used to fill in any spaces of hair that may be damaged, thinning, or slower to grow out.
✨ They can be used to enhance hair colour
✨Their placement and small nature of the bond allows for discreet and natural moving extensions.

Exams are finished for the semester and now It’s time to spend December behind the chair. 👩🏻‍⚕️📚

🎄: if you need to reschedule, I likely can’t get you in before the new year. But I can attempt to put you on a cancellation list.
