I have limited dates remaining for 2026 & 2027, and these current rates will only apply to the dates I still have available before May 10th.

First wedding of the season + some other work 🌈

As a young girl I always loved fashion, makeup, and the hair salon. I hated when my mom would do my hair but loved going to the salon with her. I had incredible self esteem issues as a child and never felt beautiful especially once I went to elementary school. But, I never felt better than I did after leaving the salon, the next day i'd go to school feeling like a million dollars, and if i got a compliment it made my week.

Growing up in the early 2000's surrounded by diet culture, body shaming, the marketing tactics of the time left me feeling like my brown hair, freckles, chubby belly meant I would never be beautiful. What a crushing weight for a child to carry. I started comparing myself to other girls and women at a very young age. It wasn't until covid hit that I had time to sit down and decide I was sick of believing I wasn't good enough.

I started working in the hairstyling industry to give other girls and women the same confidence boost I got when I left the salon. In more recent years i've tried to align myself with brands that celebrate diversity and appreciate the beauty in it. It can be very easy to get wrapped up in it all, looking back on pictures of myself helps me remember why I do what I do.

six year old me would be so honoured to know she is trusted with a persons hairstyle on their wedding day, their tv debut, their biggest event yet, the photoshoot that got them published. there is so much magic in what she has built.
