I have now been in business for 1 whole year! I can't believe it! I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that has booked in, shared my posts and just supported my small business in general!

But, on that note, I have decided to increase my prices to correspond with my experience. New prices will take effect on Monday, September 12.
New prices are as follows:
Dermaplaning $80
Henna Brows $50
Henna Brow and shape $60
Waxing prices will remain the same.

It has been quite awhile since I have made a post, life was a blur leading up to the wedding and I decided to take some time off.
I have made some changes to my hours as I am working somewhere else full time. As of right now my current hours to book will be Monday - Friday 5:30-7:30.
I am back in full swing and open for bookings!

Dry skin?

Most people think they have dry skin, which often gets confused with just having a build up of dead skin cells. This can be easily addressed with dermaplaning and weekly exfoliation at home!

What is purging?

After dermaplaning your skin goes through a process of recovery and pushes new cells to the surface and in some cases, will have your skin producing more natural oil to aid in the regeneration process.

The following days after a treatment, it is very common to expect some blemishes to come up to the surface. Leave them be, don’t panic, they should clear up very soon and you will be left with a glowing complexion and blemish free skin.

✅ Pro tip: the best way to avoid post treatment blemishes is to ensure your skin remains extremely clean for several days post treatment. Your skin is more open and vulnerable at this time. Clean face mask, pillow cases, make up brushes, hands and especially be on top of cleansing and hydrating day and night!

We played around with the henna colour a bit as my mother is a natural red head but is slowly going darker into more of a brown but with lots of red undertones. So we first applied copper brown and then went over with a medium brown, they turned out so beautiful 😍

Did you know that there are many benefits of using henna to dye your brows? Here’s a few!

1. Henna is a natural, vegan dye and no chemicals are required in the application. Unlike chemical based tints, henna actually locks in moisture keeping the hairs healthy and hydrated which often encourages hair growth!

2. It’s long lasting! Henna can last anywhere on the hairs from 6-8 weeks, almost twice as long as regular eyebrow tint, and it also lasts on the skin from 2-4 weeks. Although it does depend on how much you cleanse your face.

3. There are lots of different shades! Eyebrow henna is much less red than traditional henna for the skin, pigments are added to create a variety of shades. Currently in my kit I have blonde, golden brown, light brown, dark brown, red, burgundy and black.

4. Eyebrow Henna fills in any gaps creating the illusion of fuller brows. Thinking of changing your eyebrow shape? We can do that too!

5. It’s super quick and easy! Unlike traditional henna that has to stay on the skin for 1-2 hours, eyebrow henna only stays on for 20 minutes or less.
