A little about me + Naturally Tanned!

I’m a mom to a 1-year-old, a 9-year-old, and a 17-year-old stepson, 8 years apart. I like to say that’s what keeps us young!

I’m also a Certified Pharmacy Technician + Front Store Manager at our small-town pharmacy.

Outside of work, life is a mix of mom life, acreage life + business life. I’m definitely a home body and love to just be at home, raising our chickens, doing yard work, gardening, running and spending summers camping, boating & golfing. I also work alongside my husband with the business we’ve built around an all-in-one welding jig he invented and patented.

Naturally Tanned started as a completely random idea while on my maternity leave and I’m the type of person who gets an idea and has to do it immediately. Just ask my husband how many of these ideas I’ve had over the years. Haha!

I had no clue if it would work, but figured if it didn’t, at least I’d invested in something I could use myself. Luckily, thanks to all of YOU, that random idea turned into a little business I genuinely love!

From the beginning, my goal has been to bring a bit of a luxury experience to our small town and surrounding area, while also bringing in products you can shop locally and save on shipping.

As a mom, I also know how hard it can be to find time for yourself, and sometimes finding childcare is half the battle. That’s why kids are always welcome to come along, hang out and play while you get your tan.

It’s also why I love offering mobile tanning for groups. I can come to you, taking away the travel, childcare planning and one more thing to organize, whether it’s a wedding, grad, girls’ night or a group of friends getting tanned together.

At the end of the day, I want coming to Naturally Tanned to feel like you’ve got the full experience and more than just a regular spray tan. I want you to feel comfortable walking in, cared for while you’re here, and good about yourself when you leave.

In June, I travelled to Oyen to spray tan for this beautiful bride’s big day! Storie Wagstaff
