We have taken a break from our soaping business for the past while, but we have now been very busy preparing for the upcoming holiday season! Many new items and soaps to check out so please be sure to come by and say hello. Don’t forget to mention this post and pick up your free gift!

Here we are at the Scandianvian midsummer festival. We are here till 6 tonight and tomorrow from 10-4pm. If you make it here, Be sure to stop by the Norwegian tent and say hello!

Here are some new Lavender Castile soap - in the mold and freshly cut. They are on the drying racks and will be available in 6 weeks.

Our Italian inspiration for this one is the many Wisteria vines in full bloom. These were seen along many of the narrow canals and alleys in Venice

We have not posted much over the past while and many of you may be wondering what's up??

Well, we here at Cedar Shade Soaps took a much needed break and travelled to Italy and the Mediterranean. The entire trip was awesome! This was our first trip to Europe so there was no end to the new experiences and sights to see - so much to see, so much history!

But we are home now and its time to get back to business. The colors and scents of Italy, Spain, Greece and the Mediterranean Sea will be our inspiration for upcoming soaps, lotions, scrubs etc so stay tuned and watch for new posts over the next while.

Hi everyone ! Are we really over the snow? Finally! Wow what a winter this has been- I've lived here all my life and this has been one of the snowiest I've ever experienced.

So with positive thoughts - we are welcoming spring and will be at our first craft event of the year.

We will be at the Fibres West show March 17 & 18 at the Cloverdale Agriplex

9:30 - 5pm each day
