Just a qu**ky friendly reminder and advice!!!! It's that time of year again, when Lice is going around. One of the easiest way to spread it and catch it that you might not think about is trying on Halloween masks and wigs at the stores.

Because costumes are shared, tried on, and put back on store racks by dozens of people, they become temporary transit hubs for lice.

🎃 Quick Tips to Stay Safe

Wear a barrier: If you or your kids are trying on costumes in a store, wear a tight-fitting clothing layer underneath and a swimming cap or bandana over the hair if trying on masks, hats, or wigs.

Isolate new costumes: When you bring a costume home, seal it in a plastic bag for 48 hours. Lice cannot survive away from a human scalp for more than 24 to 48 hours.

Tumble dry: If the fabric allows, run the costume through a high-heat dryer cycle for 20 to 30 minutes before anyone wears it.

I have one more opening left before my vacation. Its tomorrow morning at 9:30. I have room for a colour! I will be off Aug 8-25 with also very limited back to school appointments left!
