The HALO Putiputi. I first created the Halo Putiputi a year ago to honor a friend whom had just passed. See earlier post. This beautiful variagate inside and Halo wove from Harakeke - Phormium Tenax is a creation to honor the Koro of my best friends Grandson whom has just passed. Andre Cruz is still (as are we all) very saddened by Kaylee Rooks passing last year. # # # AROHA KI A WHANAU Love to all the Whanau at this time. 😢

A little bit late for Valentines Day THIS year however still an awesome gift for that Special someone. Created with Pink Panther flax for the Whero raua ko Mawhero engari Kakariki. (Reds, pinks alongside green). ArohaMai Putiputi raua ko Kono. A dozen red Roses flax woven in a Vase Riiana-style with the flax woven heart on front. Can also be done in kowhai ki a hoa. (Yellows for a friend). The best thing about this gift is you only have to give it ONCE haha. The flax dries to beautiful patterns in about 4 to 8 weeks and the Arrangement can stand or hang.
