Hello Everyone, As noted in email communications sent earlier this month, my prices are increasing (largely due to my responsibility to start charging HST).

Please note the following changes.

30 minutes: $65 ($57.52 +HST) -- a base price increase of. $2.52

60 minutes: $120 ($106.19 +HST) --a base price increase of $6.19

90 minutes: $160 ($141.59 +HST) --a base price increase of $1.59

120 minutes: $210 ($185.84 +HST) -- a base price increase of $5.84

Kids Massage (30 Minutes) -- $55

15 minute follow up treatment -- $30 -- a clothed FOLLOW UP massage for a specific body area (e.g. neck OR knee OR upper back)

Please contact me if you cannot find availability through the online portal--some spots are always available only by text/phone.

As of today I can officially practice acupuncture within the scope of practice of massage therapy! Great success! You can now enjoy acupuncture as a part of your treatment plan (if you so choose!) when you come to see me. Hope everyone is having a lovely spring!

It is very important to maintain a positive outlook for pain management, for both clinical outcomes and perception. This study showed that when people catastrophize their pain it leads to lack of movement and interest in daily life, leading to the worsening of their condition.

In this way, "I can't stand the pain anymore", or "I will never feel better" acts as a self-fulfilling prophesy.

The Domino Effect of Daily Pain Catastrophizing Catastrophizing one's pain early in the day can kick-start a vicious cycle of avoiding exercise, sitting too much, and having even more catastrophic thoughts the following day.
