Dazzle up Nails

Woohoo!! I am so happy that I passed my 1st feedback opportunity for builder gel nails! I practiced so many times on my practice hand and one person, I have been having such a hard time with this builder gel. But i’m finally happy i got to pass this feedback opportunity and got a completed mark on this.

Now as I know there is still the practical exam to pass this subject of the course, having done this helped a lot and i’m less worried about the practical exam since I will be using a live model. The second feedback will be so much easier, and then I will be able to proceed to my exam. Then, my next subject!

My builder gel practice set!

Sometimes, when you have to do something you don’t like, you lose patience in the process. This was me in this case haha!

I have to send in my builder gel application for feedback from my tutors. And i haven’t had the best time doing the french tips. But i need to finish to achieve my certificate. Once its done, then i can move on!

This is my set up for Gel polish! I’m using a clean kitchen towel as a hand rest (i know its stained, but i promise its clean haha) And im using the basic tools and necessities, including:
• cuticle pusher
• cuticle nippers
• 150/180 grit nail file
• buffer block
• isopropyl alcohol
• nail dehydrator
• Gel Polish base coat
• Gel Polish in Apple red
• Gel Polish top coat
• UV LED lamp

I am SO HAPPY I officially passed my first practical assignment for Nail prep and Nail shaping!! I feel so grateful and i can’t wait to work on my next assignment! 🥳✨
