POV: the first brand to ever send you PR invited you to your first beauty event. 🥹💚🌸✨
Back in 2019, Pixi Beauty was the very first brand to send me a PR package. I still remember how exciting it was receiving it on my doorstep and ever since then they’ve continued to send the most beautiful, innovative and thoughtfully personalized products. Being invited to my very first beauty brand event by the brand that believed in me from the very beginning… honestly feels so incredibly full circle. 😭
Tbh, I almost didn’t go! Living on Vancouver Island meant ferry schedules, travel logistics and trying to figure out how to make it all work. But I’m so grateful I said yes because it reminded me that sometimes the opportunities that feel the hardest to get to end up being the most rewarding.
The evening was absolutely beautiful 💫 from the gorgeous rooftop views of Parker Rooftop, to meeting the incredible Pixi team and connecting with so many talented creators. I left feeling inspired, so grateful and SO excited for what’s to come. (and with so many amazing Pixi goodies!!!!!)
A huge thank you to the entire Pixi team for inviting me and for supporting me throughout the years. It truly means more than you’ll ever know. 💚 and of course, thank you to my sweet bb cousin Laci for being my adventure buddy, hype girl and travel bestie. work a weekend away with me 🤍 my first ever time on Salt Spring Island and my beautiful bride Gabrielle brought me there 🥹
last Friday I packed up my kit, caught the ferry from Crofton over to Salt Spring, spent the night and had the sweetest Saturday morning getting my gorgeous bride and her bridal party ready for her wedding day.
there’s so much that goes into these weekends that you don’t always see… the long travel days, packing what feels like my entire studio into the car, ferry rides, the early mornings, setting up my station and everything else in between.
