Call for Justice 7.8:
Calls for strong, sustained support to grow an Indigenous health workforce within communities. This includes creating opportunities and incentives to recruit, train, hire, and retain Indigenous people in health and wellness roles.

Care should not come from outside alone.
It should exist within community.
This means long-term investment, not short-term solutions, consistent, and culturally grounded.

Because when care is delivered by community, it is stronger, more trusted, and more responsive.
