Little changes being made to the summer schedule ☀️
Wednesday is going to be starting and finishing earlier, I will no longer be offering Wednesday 5 pm every second week. Couple other little changes like my Friday start and finishing time. Some Thursday 3:45 slots will be unavailable as I have personal appointments. Occasional 3:45 slots subject to being reopened certain weeks.

But if you’re a regular, don’t worry we will find a slot that fits both of our schedules 🙂

In order to continue giving my clients the quality of care I have been providing, one of the new clinic policies I will be implementing is the General Swedish Massage is no longer a treatment option. The 60 minute treatments are therapeutic, tmj, concussion/whiplash, scoliosis, and athletic massage. If someone requires a lighter pressure treatment, that can still be booked under therapeutic massage.

There has been a misunderstanding to some people given the relevance of general Swedish massage, and expectations. The clinic is therapeutically oriented. To elimanate any further misunderstandings of treatments, I am implementing this change.

A couple other updates are coming soon.

Thank you for your continued support.

Not many people know this, but if you’re on antibiotics with an active infection, you cann actually can’t get a massage as it’s contraindicated. The infection is the contraindication. Just want to bring awareness to this because it’s not a commonality that people always know.

Stay safe this winter, friends. If you have an infection and are booked, we can always reschedule.

Other RMT’s, feel free to share this to spread awareness 🤓

Appointments are filling up quick for the month of November.

I always prioritize my regulars, but I have an influx of new bookings coming in. Will be pre-booking my regulars in advance to sure you guys have a spot in the schedule.

We all know Christmas time is my busiest time of year. This year, I will try and avoid going past my 5 client days. It is exceptional to do it a few times but I will try not to make a habit of it, as that leads me to burn out!

Pre book your sessions to ensure you make time for you.

Much love,
Mia

A huge stepping stone in my career. Voted number one out of all the massage clinics that were entered in HRM in the community votes awards for 2025, winning Platinum for massage therapy. A big thank you for everyone who voted for my clinic, and thank you to all of my clients for your ongoing support. It is such an honour to continue to help you reach your wellness goals and help with each one’s healing journey.

Little before and after release on my client

The left photo, I had just worked on her left side. The right side was still locked and restricted by adhesed fascial scarring and muscular imbalances.
The right photo, I have released both shoulder girdles as well as put her ribs back into alignment.
If you’ve never had fascial work done in your treatment, you are missing a key component. I help realign people’s fascial chains to alleviate pain, restore muscle imbalances, create postural awareness, recommend strengthening or stretching to improve muscle range and mechanics. Treating the fascia is a huge component in helping restore balance in the body.

DM to book a fascial treatment to help you relieve your pain.
