Hi, I’m Sarah — the face behind Bare Citizen Sugaring Room!

I’ve called Dartmouth, Nova Scotia home for the past 7 years, where I live with my wonderful partner and our sweet pup. I’m a wellness enthusiast at heart — you’ll often find me trail walking, flowing through a vinyasa practice, catching waves or capturing them through my lens. These are the things that keep me grounded and connected, both in life and through my work.

I’ve been a certified body sugaring practitioner since 2018 and have always found joy in helping others feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. But last year, life caught up with me — I hit a wall of extreme burnout and had to step back to truly take care of myself. That time of rest and reflection led me to rediscover my passion, and from that space of healing, Bare Citizen was born.

This sugaring room is more than just a service space — it’s a warm, welcoming corner of the world where you can come as you are. I’m so grateful to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to welcome you in. Here’s to smooth skin, good conversations, and feeling at home in your body.
