The Faces of Extinction: The Species We Lost in 2019 • The Revelator Three bird species, two frogs, a shark, a famous snail and one of the world’s largest freshwater fish were among those declared extinct this year.
Wow! What a collection and this is only the tip of the iceberg. Time to get hyper aware of plastic use in our households. An easy start is skipping plastic bags at the grocery store (including produce bags!) And declining plastic containers and utensils when eating on the go. Recycling isn't working. It's not enough. We need to drastically minimize to completely stopping collecting plastic items on a daily basis 👍🌎❤️
