My sweet sweet girl decided a couple months ago she was done with the blonde ♡

This was done by filling the hair while lowlighting.

Its important not to add too much warmth unless youre looking to intentionmaly see warmth in the end result because you will see red/orange in the sun. You just need an anchoring tone like a WN, NW, GI or GB or straight gold but adding red or crazy copper isnt necessary especially if you want to mimic natural hair and you want it to fade more neutral ♡♡

Think about it this way
☆ If you're going to paint a wall and it has oil and product on it and isn't clean, the paint won't saturate evenly. You'll have parts where it won't take and you'll have splotches.
It's the same with color.
If you have oil and product built up, the lightener or color needs to work that much harder to get into the hair shaft to do it's job.
Instead:
come to your appointment with clean, dry hair. Washed 1-2 days prior depending on how quickly your hair gets oily :)
Your stylist will be so happy and you'll see better color results so, win-win ♡

The face behind the chair:

Hi! My name is Ashley Hatcher, a 34 year old wife and mom outside of the work I do behind the chair. 3 years ago I married my best friend and we've been on this crazy ride together for 15 years now and we share 4 beautiful children together.

Just after we decided to finally get married I decided I was going to take the leap and go back to school. I knew that God was with me and would carry me and my family through this.

I've always had a love for making people feel good about themselves and being happy in their own skin.

I am located conveniently inside Maria's Hair Design at 451 Paul Street, Dieppe Suite 204

Since I've been in this industry I have spent a lot of time and $$ leveling up my skills and continue to do so.

I've done everything from working with a consulting firm to refine my skills in many areas to taking 1 day in person classes. I've taken education from some of the biggest names in the hair world such as blondechronicles lumiere name a few.

I take my work very seriously but I am also lighthearted and never let the industry take over my love, passion and I never forget why I got into the industry. I've been in a position where I've felt like I didn't recognize myself anymore and I only had control over my hair. I chose to express myself through this ♡

I love each and every one of my clients who has stuck with me and watched me grow into the small business owner I am today, and each of you holds the most special place in my heart. We've grown into friendships, and I wouldn't be who or where I am today without you all, so thank you ♡
