First annual Shediac’s Annual Renaissance Faire ✨ complete ✨️🎭

When i found out that i was accepted to be a vendor at the faire, i was SO excited. Ive been wanting to go to a ren faire for years, and having one be so close to me that i also got to be a part of & add to the experience of others who went was so rewarding!

The good:
I loved meeting everyone who stopped by the stall, hearing everyone's favourite parts, & being able to paint some cool looks! As usual, I forgot to take almost any photos because i was so busy being in the moment with people and enjoying doing what I love to do ❤️
I loved being able to see everyone's costumes from my stall & hearing all the hard work they put into making them. I also enjoyed chatting with some of my nearby vendor neighbors and trinket trading!
The Glitter Freckles were a hit! ✨️

The bad:
Due to a couple different factors overall (a mix of things on my end, the faires, and some that were just generally uncontrollable), it wasnt the turnout I was hoping for this weekend. However, I would still consider it a somewhat success. There will be improvements made for next year for sure! 💪
I was told many times by both attendees & by some of the volunteers/other vendors that a lot of people didnt know that I was even there on Saturday, or couldnt find where i was located/thought i was in a different area, so they didnt think to look for me with the other vendors. I had forgotten my display boards at home, so the only signage i had to promote my booth was my price/design sheets I had printed, and a little paper "Face Painting!" hanging banner i quickly made.
Part of my booth rental fee included paying extra for electricity access which i didnt receive at all, so I was unable to use my airbrush to help weather-proof my designs. With that, the weather was also working against me due to the high heat on Saturday making people sweat off their paint, and all the heavy rain on Sunday washing it away if people didnt have ways to protect it. I did have some barrier/setting spray to help keep it in place the best I could, but that can only go so far with water activated facepaints.

Thank you all - Hoping for a better turnout for next year!🤞🥰

Concept vs Reality!

I had the privilege of being the Lead MUA/Facepainter for the show "Kirio" this year, and I loved being able to see all the ideas come to life at the hands of myself and my team of amazing artists Feliz Face Painting , TLC Face and Body Painting , and at the Dieppe shows this past weekend! ( KC's Face Painting - Halifax missed having you with us 💕)

Below are a few of the looks we all did, based off the concepts that I and a few of my team also came up with! 😊 Working as a team, its so cool to see how different artists interpret, mix & make a design their own, and you can notice how the looks change, but still be the same ❤️ Always so fun working alongside other creatives! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
