We’re hiring a part-time Salon Coordinator at The Guild ✨

This role is perfect for someone who loves staying organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys creating a great experience for clients the moment they walk through the door.

You’ll be helping keep the salon running smoothly behind the scenes, supporting our team, and making sure our clients feel taken care of from start to finish.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and flexible with the days they’re available to work.

Bonus points if you have salon reception experience or barista experience.

As the year comes to a close, I just want to say thank you. To our team, our clients, and everyone who supports The Guild. This year meant a lot to me.

This past year has been one of the most challenging, both professionally and personally, and it finally feels like we’re on the other side of it. Things feel calmer and more intentional now, and the space feels really good because of it. The people have always been the heart of this place, and I’m so grateful for the team I work alongside and the clients who continue to show up and support us.

Looking ahead to 2026, I’m excited about what’s coming next. We’ll be back in the salon December 28th to 30th, then closed again before reopening on Tuesday, January 6th.

Exciting news! 💕 We’re welcoming an incredibly skilled new team member to The Guild in early 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been lucky to get to know Marina, and from our first “blind date,” we clicked right away. She’s talented, genuine, and has that Guild vibe that makes you feel like she’s been here all along.

Hey, my name is Marina and I’m super thrilled to be joining the team at The Guild Salon in January.

With ten years behind the chair, I’ve grown a deep love for soft razor cuts and effortless dimensional colour. Beyond creating great hair, my favourite part of this career is connecting with my clients and building meaningful relationships.

I’m really looking forward to moving to the island to be closer to nature and my family, and to be able to hike straight from my backyard. Outside the salon, you’ll find me grabbing a coffee, hanging out with my dog, or getting lost in a good fantasy novel.

I can’t wait to meet everyone and start this new chapter at The Guild. 🤍✨

She joined us back in April and fit in like a missing puzzle piece. It honestly feels like she has been here forever. She is funny, delightfully quirky and has a razor sharp eye for detail that quietly saves the day more often than anyone realizes.

Jessica goes above and beyond for her guests every single time, often doing more than what is expected because she genuinely cares. She is kind, thoughtful and an absolute joy to have around.
