365 days.
That’s how long 2026 is.
For the past 6 and a half years I’ve hardly missed a day in the gym. This year has been no different.
Except for one thing, purpose.
Previously I can admit that I worked out for 3 reasons.
1: confidence
2: health
3: and vanity
Now I work out for 3 reasons with one remaining the same.
1: discipline
2: health
3: and therapy
I’m no longer interested in my appearance as much as I am with what I feel like internally.
My discipline holds me accountable, my health needs improvement and every session is therapeutic and helps with my mental health.
I’m carrying 280lbs on my frame and I’ve been heavier for a little over two years.
It’s time for me to cut down that scale number because my body is telling me to.
My sweet spot where I’ve felt the healthiest was between 220lbs and 230lbs.
I’m not going to rush this process.
I’ll still have a cheat meal here and there and a zero sugar drink when necessary.
I’ve locked in before, I wouldn’t say the bulk was excessive but about 3 years ago I started at 210lbs bulking to a max of 294lbs December of last year.
It’s time to go down.
Hard when you’re a major foodie but not impossible.
Tomorrow is day 1.
