Tips to help your handmade soap last longer:

- Before use, store soap in a drawer or linen closet away from humidity. This allows the bar to maintain its hard form and can dry the soap out further for future use.
- Cut the bar of soap into smaller pieces and only use one small piece at a time.
- Use a washcloth instead of your hands. A washcloth creates more lather and suds while using less soap.
- Keep it dry in between uses. Nothing will make soap melt faster than constant exposure to water. Be sure to keep it out of the showerhead’s line of fire and store it in a tray with proper drainage.
