So happy to finally share that Fiona will be joining the PLSHD team part-time this June 🤍

Fiona will be offering manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing services (excluding Brazilians), and tinting — and I truly think you’re all going to love her as much as we do already.

She brings such a kind, easygoing energy to the space and genuinely cares about making people feel comfortable, cared for, and polished leaving their appointments.

Building the right team is so important to me, and bringing Fiona into PLSHD feels like such a natural fit ✨

She will be around the studio shadowing me for a few days for the remainder of May…make sure to say hello when you see her! We can’t wait for you to meet her!

It’s time to come clean and be honest about what’s been happening behind the scenes.

Since February, I’ve been navigating a diagnosed heart condition—something that has forced me to slow down, listen to my body, and adjust in ways I never expected. More recently, all of you learned that Victoria has moved on to a new chapter.

Both have been incredibly hard in their own ways, and together, it’s been a lot to carry.

I want you to know that I am here, doing the very best I can within my current abilities to accommodate each of you with the same care, intention, and love you’ve always known from me.

Your patience, your understanding, and your continued support mean everything right now. This space and all of you in it matter more to me than I can say.

Today is a hard one.

After being such a big part of our space, our clients, and honestly our day-to-day life… Victoria is moving on and going back to electrical work. And while I truly support her decision, it doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier.

Victoria, you brought so much more than just your talent. You brought warmth, loyalty, laughter, and a presence that can’t be replaced. You’ve built real relationships here — the kind that go far beyond appointments — and that’s something really special.

To our clients… I know many of you will feel this loss just as deeply. She cared about each of you in a way that was genuine and rare, and that’s why she will be missed so much.
As much as this is an ending here, it’s also the start of something new for her, and I truly wish her nothing but success and happiness in what’s next.

Victoria, thank you for everything you’ve given — to me, to this space, and to everyone who had the chance to sit in your chair. You’ll always have a place here.

The story behind the feather! For those who don’t know…the feather is a symbol for my best friend Adrian who I lost 10 years ago today. He was my everything, my biggest supporter, my loudest cheerleader! He believed more in me than I ever did or could for myself. He told me years before I opened my business that I would do exactly that and that I should name it Polished. I literally laughed at him and said ya right..me?? I could never do that!!! Fast forward to 2019 when I did exactly what he believed I could do and opened my business and named it PLSHD (polished). Just like he said I would! The feather is a symbol whenever I see that reminds me of him and a reminder that I can do anything…even if I don’t believe it ❤️

🚗 UPDATED!! Parking Reminder for Our Clients

We want to kindly remind everyone visiting our studio to park only in our assigned spaces to help keep things running smoothly for all tenants in the complex.

✅ Designated parking for our clients:
* Stalls 5 and 15 (reserved for our use)
* If these stalls are unavailable, there is plenty of street parking available along 124th street.

Please leave yourself with plenty of time to find parking, especially during high traffic times of the day.
Please avoid parking in any other stalls, as vehicles in unassigned spaces are subject to towing by property management.
We truly appreciate your help in keeping parking fair and accessible for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
