Meet our newest aesthetician, Mariann!

Mariann joined our team with over 2 decades of experience and an enthusiasm to help clients in all areas of their beauty and wellness. Originally from Budapest, Hungary, Mariann offers the same services you have come to love from Utopia - with a European twist. In her early career, Mariann completed a degree in Registered Nursing and practiced in a hospital setting for several years prior to coming to Canada.
Mariann holds advanced certificates in Medical Dermatology, Esthetics and Cosmetology, and Laser treatments. She is also certified in waxing (including Brazilians), tinting, facials, pedicures, radiofrequency, and AstroDome facials. She has been a wonderful addition to the Utopia MediSpa team and glows with good energy wherever she goes. Her massage is fantastic and her calming energy will have you sailing off into blissful relaxation before the 2nd cleanse.
In her spare time, Mariann enjoys cooking, spending time with her young son, and expanding her ever-growing collection of funky shoes. Come meet your next great Aesthetician today!

Whether you are getting a Bikini wax or a full Brazilian wax, there are things you can do to make the experience more comfortable and the results smoother and more radiant.

1) Visit a qualified, experienced waxer. Their treatment techniques, safety protocols, and quality of product will help to set you up for success long-term. Plus, they can see things you can’t, meaning a cleaner result with less trauma and irritation to the area.

4) Use a post-treatment oil to soothe, hydrate, soften, and prevent ingrown hairs. This is also fantastic for post-shave irritation, redness, and razor burn. We recommend **eOil. The smell is to die for and leaves the area silky and smooth.

5) Keep regular visits (typically every 6 weeks depending on growth rate). This will make appointments more comfortable with less downtime and will eventually lead to reduced hair growth. Maintenance waxing is a breeze!
