To my tanning girls 🫶 After much consideration, I’ve decided to take this very necessary break. As many of you know, I have a full time job teaching, along with another full time side business with teeth whitening, and have now created my own line of self tanners. I know many of you who have tried the tanner have already made the switch from spray tans to using the product, which brings me much joy. For those who haven’t, you can buy the product on sale while my spray tan studio is closed. 🤎 I have loved every moment of being busy with this business, but it has caused me to neglect myself at the same time. I have decided to take a 5 week break (for now) from the tanning business to allow myself to focus on other areas of my life and to give myself the energy I need to put into those areas of my life. Hi beauties. So, I did have to make a very small couple dollar increase to my prices. This was a choice I’ve contemplated for a while, but my margins are just growing too thin with my costs increasing to the point it wasn’t making sense for me anymore. I had to make a choice between downgrading to a lower quality tan solution or raising my prices by a couple dollars.. and as you know, the quality of my tans means everything to me. I know there may be some tans for $10 less out there with discounted solutions, but I can’t sacrifice the quality of my solution or my ph balancing spray for a cheaper solution. I hope you understand. Keep in mind, this is the total cost with no extra fees added. I add in the ph balancing spray, tan extenders, scent and sticky feet all in that cost, where most salons use those as an “add on” price.
