First cut of the season. Always a pleasure to spend a day out in the bush like this. We harvest our firewood on the edge of the prairie, where parkland transitions into boreal forest. A dense mix of tamarack, lodgepole pine, birch, poplars, spruces and wildroses. Something about the area feel quintessentially Albertan.

Sauna reveal! First full view of the sauna exterior, all set up as it would be for your booking. All the wood elements in view from the cladding to the stair surfaces are made from western red cedar from stands on the western slope of the northern rockies!

3-sided heat shield and insulated double wall stove pipe help protect you from the heat of the stove. Nevertheless less, be mindful as you move around the sauna as accidental contact is sure to be unpleasant!
