Hello ladies After long talks with my family I have decided to shut down my gloss and polish business. With the rising covid numbers in our province and me being immune suppressed, my health is a concern to me. I am now battling another round of pneumonia in just the last 4 weeks. I am looking forward to being at home and taking care of my grand kids. Urban trends has found another nail technician her name is Robin. She has been a nail tech for almost 19 years and comes with a lot of experience. She is amazing at sculptuted French nails as well as art work. I have complete trust in Robin that she will be able to do whatever you want with your nails. Hello ladies and welcome back to the wonderful world of nails. There are a few changes within the salon with this pandemic that may affect your appointment. First of all all clients must wear a mask when entering the salon. If u do not have one I will supply one to you. There is no waiting room right now so please text me when u arrive to make sure I am done with my previous client and wait in your vehicle until I let you know you can come in. Please refrain from touching your cell phone while u are in my chair if u need to send me a picture please do so before the appointment. Also do to the increase in cost on not only PPE but my gel products as well my prices have increased. All new sets of nails are $75 and fills are $60. I am so excited to see you all and to be doing pretty nails again.

Well as most of you have heard the hair salons have a proposed date of May 14 to open. I as a nail tech fall into phase 2 of reopening. I have been getting numerous calls and texts about booking appointments. I appreciate everyone and their loyalty to my nail services in wanting to pre book. I cannot give a date to start rebooking until phase 1 goes well. So I will rebook everyone on the basis of who got cancelled first and who is texting for an appointment. Now with that said there will be protocols in place when I return to my desk. If you are sick or unwell in ANY way your appointment must be cancelled and rebooked. If you travel outside the country you must make sure your next appointment is at least 14 days after you return. A mask must be worn at all times when u enter the salon. Only one client will be allowed in at a time to my desk, no children or friends allowed. You must wait in your vehicle or outside the salon until I can properly disinfect my station in between clients. With that being said it will result in me taking fewer clients in a day. There may be more protocols to come as we get closer to an open date and I will keep you updated as I know and learn about what our new normal will be. So please bear with me as you are one of many trying to get back in as soon as I open. I know that moving forward will be very different from the past and know that I am grateful for the support you have all shown me during this pandemic. Your health and safety as well as the health and safety of my loved ones is my very top priority.

Well as most of you know I have closed my nail business because of Covid-19. I was trying to run week by week but as it seems probable I will be closed at least u til may1st. I will contact everyone as soon as it is safe to return to work but for now we all have to do our best to social distance ourselves. As most of you know I am immune compromised and have my elderly mother living with me. We both cannot take any chances as we are both very vulnerable to this virus. I thank you all for your patience and hope to see u all soon.
