The Makeup Art Space
A private studio specializing in all forms of makeup applications and lessons. Book an appointment with us.
The Makeup Art Space is a private makeup artist studio located on the south side of Edmonton. We specialize in multiple makeup artist services including beauty, camera ready, airbrush, face and body painting, special effects makeup, prosthetic makeup and creature creation and prosthetic design. We offer a private studio where there is the option to purchase the products used on you with no pressure. We want the experience to be all about you and to make sure you are comfortable and pleased with your final look. The Makeup Art Space recognizes that your face has its own unique beauty to be expressed. Our makeup applications are never a pre-determined formula designed to sell any particular product or make you look a particular way. We will design a look specific for you and how you want to present yourself to the world that day: enticing for your date, fresh for your reunion, ravishing for your anniversary, scary for Halloween or glamorous for the sake of being glamorous every day. Gaylynne Fell, our lead Makeup Artist has over 15 years experience as a makeup artist. She was trained in all the makeup programs at Joe Blasco Makeup Training Centers in Orlando Florida, and continued her training at Vancouver Film School. She is currently the Head Instructor at Cosmopolitan Makeup Artistry College in Edmonton.
Gaylynne Fell came to work with me in at The Citadel | Edmonton Theatre today and had more fun getting all the attention he could and patrolling the hallways.

Back in my shop for a bit and it was great to catch up with some clients I hadn’t seen in a while! One week of life = lots of brush cleaning and sanitation. Can you believe there was no weddings in that either? Just lessons and applications. Now to organize the kits and reassemble the airbrushes.

The art of , even simple relies heavily on theory. When creating realistic wounds, blood tones must be carefully chosen based on factors like the age of the wound and lighting. It's not a one-size-fits-all solution with just red or stage blood.
