One way to start understanding Tarot is to understand why the cards are in your deck, rather than focusing on memorizing the meaning of each card.

Taking a break from my to-do-list to share the card of the month:
The Chariot
I love that April is going to be all about working with The Chariot. It is absolutely one of my most favourite cards in the deck due to its sense of drive, tenacity, ambition and desire to perform. Still early in His journey, being the 7th card of the Arcana, he has a lot to learn but his commitment is solid.
He's learned enough lessons to find balance - his light and dark horses remind me of having the strength and energy of youth, paired with the experience of wisdom.
I also love the light in this card, depending on how you're reading it, it's either dusk or dawn... my two favourite times of day. Personally, these are the two times of day when I like to get'er done. I am most alert, connect to my creative source, and most willing to explore.
I feel the same way about April. It just feel fresh and purposeful. It is the perfect time to take all that training and put it into action.
**magicmoment ~ I also liken The Chariot to Ben Hur, which I always try to watch around Easter time... which just happens to be in April ;) I really like the new version, but can't wait to dive in to the original with Charleton Heston. I feel a Chariot worthy puzzle sessions coming on 🧩 🐎
