What You Need to Bring to the Competition Floor 💅

Competition weekend is almost here! Before you pack up, take a few minutes to double-check your setup. Competitors are responsible for bringing everything they need to complete their competition work.

⚡ POWER IS IMPORTANT!

You will have access to ONE plug-in, so you MUST bring your own:

✔️ Extension cord
✔️ Power bar

Between your LED lamp, overhead light, dust collector and other equipment, that single outlet disappears quickly. Please do not plan on using additional outlets or taking plug-ins intended for other competitors. Bring a power bar and plan your setup accordingly.

WHAT TO BRING

✔️ Your complete nail kit and products
✔️ UV/LED lamp
✔️ Extension cord
✔️ Power bar
✔️ Overhead/task light, highly recommended
✔️ Dust collector, highly recommended if you have one
✔️ Compressed air if you are not bringing a dust collector
✔️ Files, bits, brushes and backups
✔️ Paper towels and extra table towels
✔️ Any tools, implements or supplies required for your category
✔️ Anything else you personally need to work comfortably and efficiently

🚨 SPACE IS LIMITED

Competition stations are designed to give everyone the workspace they need, but there is not unlimited room. Pack strategically and keep your setup organized and contained within your station.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Tables and chairs.

Everything else required for your work should come with you.

Once that competition timer starts, you don’t want to discover that the one thing you need is sitting at home.

Our Saturday night mixer has officially been moved to the bar at the Saskatoon Inn & Convention Centre, and there is NO FEE to attend!

Starting at 8:00 PM, come hang out with the HBF and Nail Masters Canada crew! 💅🥂

Grab a drink, order a snack, pull up a chair and come visit with us. This is just a fun, relaxed night to connect, catch up, meet some new people and hang out with the beauty community before another big day of competition and education.
