FULL CLEARANCE isn’t always required, what is more important is that what minimal pigment is left over won’t distort the new look we are going for.

For nano brows we need:
✅ minimal yellow residue (if any)
✅ no dark marks from deep microblading
✅ enough pigment gone that the hairstrokes will show up and look natural
✅ pigment that is left over should not be too far outside the new shape

For Ombré brows we have more leeway:
✅ yellow can be covered up
✅ as long as the shape is decent, 10-20% of pigment left over can be worked with.
✅ dark spots should still be removed depending on the area.

Two sessions and we were ready for a cover up! The yellow residue she had was minimal (especially in person without a ring light on her) and her skin tone blended it well. Her request for hairstrokes that looked natural came to life, with just two removal sessions and a bit of patience. One session in and they look pretty perfect 🥳 When removing red pigment it has a tendency to change colours to dark grey after being lasered by the wavelength that targets red.

Once it has shifted to the dark grey, I use my other wavelength to target the dark colour. Some red may reappear after a day or so, depending on the pigment and saturation level. Then they will continue to lighten over the coming weeks!

If you have old permanent makeup you’re tired of trying to hide, just remove it! It’s faster and easier than you think. You’ll wish you had done it sooner.

Balanced out these brows with some stunning nano hairstrokes, as you can see she has some hair on the front of the brow but the body and tail of was mostly bare. Brows are definitely life changing 😍
