“I’m documenting all of it. The wins. The fails. The relearn.”
I’ve spent the last two weeks being more honest on here than I planned to be — and it’s felt really good.

So here’s the full picture of what I’m building and who I’m building it for:

💅 If you’re a nail lover who wants to actually understand what’s happening when you sit in that chair — this is for you.

💅 If you’re a tech who’s coming back after time off, rebuilding on a budget, or just trying to get better — pull up a chair.

💅 If you want handmade luxury press-ons made by someone with two decades of real salon experience — you’re in the right place.

No fluff. No filters on the bad days. Just nails, real talk, and the ongoing project of getting my hands back where they belong.

The messy middle is where the real education lives. I’ll be here for all of it.

Follow along. Say hello in the comments. Let’s build something real. 🤍

“Why your gel lifts — and what I relearned the hard way.”
I messed up a few weeks ago. Here’s exactly what went wrong — and why it happens to everyone.

Lifting almost always comes down to one of four things:

01. PREP — Oil, moisture, or dust on the nail plate means no bond. Full stop.
02. BASE COAT — Flooding the cuticle or applying too thick traps air underneath.
03. CURE TIME — Undercured gel stays flexible. It will lift.
04. PRODUCT MISMATCH — Not all gels play well together.

I skipped my primer step because I was in a rush leaning new techniques . Classic. Paid for it. I DO have a primer/base coat dual that’s works perfectly!

Even with 20 years of experience, shortcuts still cost you. The fundamentals don’t change — just the products do.

Drop a 💅 if gel lifting is your nemesis too. And tell me — which one of these is usually your culprit?

POV: you have 600+ posts and zero content ideas 😅✨
Here’s the secret no one tells you — your old content IS your new content. I’ve been there-just stumped!
Go back. Repost those sets from 2 years ago. Talk about what you were obsessed with back then 🩷
💅 when you finally nailed isolated chrome
💅 Finding the perfect pink base for a French
💅 Your staple art brushes that made art easier
💅 What designs were popular with your clients- what nail tips were their favourite.
Your journey, your mess-ups, your wins — that’s the education people are actually here for.
The struggle of learning something new and finally nailing it? That’s relatable content. That’s connection. That’s what makes people save, share and come back.
You don’t need new nails to post. You need a new perspective on what you already have. 🔁
Drop a 💅 if you’ve ever spiralled thinking you had nothing to post!

✨ Sculpted French — the classic that never goes out of style.
There’s something about a clean, natural French that just hits different. 🤍 This set was done using Sno & Blush — and if you know, you know. That soft pink base with a crisp white tip? Chef’s kiss.
Here’s what I want you to understand about a good sculpted French: it should never look thick or bulky. The whole point is a seamless, natural transition from your cuticle all the way to the tip. When done right, it grows out beautifully — We’re talking 3–4 weeks !
And the best part? You get to customize your French line. Skinny and delicate? Done. Thicker, bolder white tip? Also done. It’s YOUR set — I’ll make it happen!
This is nail education AND nail art living in the same photo. 🎓📍 DM to book

Real talk — when I first got back at the nail desk in December I was rusty and messed up, but I’m posting about it anyway.

I don’t mess up to tue naked eye , but to my standard I DID. Took longer than it should. Application was bulky. Cuticle work wasn’t clean. The prep was off and I knew it while I was doing it.

I have 20+ years in a salon chair. I’ve done thousands of sets. And I still messed this one up.

That’s what six years away does. The muscle memory is coming back — but it’s not instant. And I’m not going to pretend otherwise.

The difference between a beginner and an experienced tech isn’t that one never messes up. It’s that one knows exactly why it went wrong.

Save this if you’ve ever felt like you should be further along than you are. 👇
