A few unexpected massage appointments opened up this week, and I'd love to fill them with some familiar faces.

Summer often feels like it should be relaxing, but between camping, road trips, gardening, sports, long drives, and keeping up with family life, many people end up carrying more tension than they realize.

If you've been thinking, "I really should book a massage," consider this your reminder.

As a little summer thank you, everyone who books and attends a massage between **Monday and July 31** will be entered into a draw to win a **FREE 60-minute massage.**

One of the most common things I hear in my treatment room is:

"I'm not sure what I did."

The truth is, many aches and pains don't come from one big injury. They build up gradually through the small things we do every day—gardening, camping, long drives, working at a desk, carrying grandchildren, or simply being more active during the summer.

Before pain appears, your body often whispers.

You might notice stiffness when you get out of bed, tightness in your shoulders by the end of the day, or a neck that doesn't move quite as easily as it used to.

These aren't signs that something is necessarily wrong. They're often your body's way of asking for a little attention before a bigger problem develops.

One of the things I enjoy most about my work is helping people understand not only where they feel discomfort, but also what may be contributing to it.

I hope you're finding time to enjoy the Alberta summer—and to listen when your body asks you to slow down.
