First wash was with renew. The color shampoo was a little dry.
Looks like it brought out some red tones for me.

I'm probably the laziest person when it comes to styling hair. I like that bed head, beach wave look and Monat has helped my hair hold this look.
I currently use the renew shampoo every 3rd day, along with the oil. I also use the masque twice a week. As for styling, I literally let my hair air dry and with a little hairspray to control my bangs, Voila! That's it. Nothing else.

The only goals I know in my life right now are the ones I score in my sports.
This whole independent business is new to me and I have a huge learning curve ahead of myself. Sampling instructions:

Welcome to your Monat products!

What an exciting day as you get to take the first step into changing your hair and maybe even your financial future!

Here are a few over all treatment tips and reminders:

1. Monat products are very concentrated; therefore you are going to use a lot less then any other product you have used before!

2. This is a treatment system. You are not going to see the best results on your first use. Your hair will change after one wash but it varies between people. Give this product time, your hair didn’t get damaged in one day, it will not be 100% better in one wash.

3. Also remember we have many systems; if one isn’t working for you we will have one that does!

Oil

1. Pre treatments are the most popular way to use the oil but there are many ways you can use it so if one way doesn't work for you then talk to me and I'll find you another way.
2. Massage 4-5 drops into scalp and then another 4-6 drops into the rest of your hair.
3. Let it sit for 15-20 mins and then continue on to shampoo.
4. Do the pre treatment every wash in your first week, every 2nd wash in your second week, twice in your 3rd week and then once a week from there.
5. You can also add 1-2 drops to your leave conditioner or add 1-2 drops to styled hair for fly always and shine.

Renew/Revive Shampoo:

The first thing you must know when using one of these shampoos is that they are very concentrated. Therefore you will need to use very little. Believe me when I tell you anymore then a quarter size (25 cents) is going to be too much.

Step 1. Wet your hair with warm water and carefully squeeze a small amount of the shampoo into your hand.

Smooth the shampoo into your hands and then on to your hair.

Gently work it into you scalp using circular motions.

This is not a shampoo you “scrub”. This first wash you may not see any lather, this is normal.

Once you have the shampoo in your hair let it sit and really sink into your hair for about 2 min. This is important especially at the beginning of your use with Monat.

After the 2 minutes rinse the shampoo out and repeat again with an even smaller amount of shampoo.

This time you will notice lather. Let it sit for another 2 min and then rinse.

Revitalize Conditioner:

This product is used in conjunction with the ReviveShampoo.

Remember conditioner is lotion for the hair. Again I state the concentration of these products. You will need very little. With our conditioner I always suggest to start small and add more if needed.

Smooth the conditioner on your hair making sure to get it everywhere.

Let it sit on your hair for a few minutes and then rinse.

Replenish Masque:

This is a deep conditioning treatment and let me tell you it is wonderful!

It can be used as a weekly treatment or daily treatments depending on what your hair needs are.

It is typically a part of the Balance System with the Renew Shampoo.

Again with this product I suggest that you start with a little and then add until you think you have enough.

This product is to be worked into the scalp, shaft of the hair and the ends.

Let this conditioning treatment sit on the hair for 5-10 min and then rinse it off.

Your hair will feel heavenly after using!

Restore Leave-in Conditioner:

This is one of my favorite products that we have! If you have long hair it will be a must have for your hair care needs.

Start with a small amount again and add as needed. Add this product from the mid section down to your ends. By doing this you are going to avoid weighing down your hair.

Once placed on the hair let it sit and pe*****te and then brush your hair. This is done once out of the shower.

You can add 1-2 drops of the oil to the leave-in. DO NOT ADD TO MUCH OIL!!! Be very careful with this.

Reshape Root lifter:

This product is like backcomb in a bottle.

Section your hair where you would like more volume and spray this product on the scalp and rub it in to the roots of the hair.

Once you have completed this blow dry your hair in the opposite direction you want it to lie. Then admire the results.

Restyle Instant Sculpting Taffy:

There are many different ways to use this product.

1. In wet/damp hair: take a small amount and rub it in your hands to warm it up and then run your fingers through your hair and rub onto your scalp. This will create a great hold for styling and great volume.

2. Once hair is styled take a small amount and rub it on fingertips. Once the product is warm section the hairs out where you would like more volume rub it in the opposite direction of the way you want the hair to lay.

3. You can also use it as a styling hold on dry hair as you would usually use taffy.

Refinish Control Spray:

Shake the bottle well and spray as you would any other hair spray. Just don’t feel bad about the o-zone as it will not be affected.

Men’s 2-1 Shampoo & Conditioner:

Work in to the scalp as you would the other shampoos. This is not just for men, this product will work wonders on women as well.

This is a very deep cleaning product and it will work wonders on scalp build up as well as hair build up.

Many people use this product in harmony with one of our other shampoos.

Also use the 2 wash system with this product and again use very little in relation to what you used before with your previous products.

Intense Repair Treatment:

This product is amazing!

For extreme cases where you are looking for maximum results use morning and night.

Section the hair out all over your head. Spray on the scalp and then once finished massage into the scalp. Do not wash out let this product sit on the scalp.

Oops.. so I over processed my hair and need to go to the salon for it to be corrected. This will be the first time I am not looking forward to the wash and shampoo. That's more build up I have to free my hair of. I put the masque on, and left it and my hair is so unbelievably soft right now. Thank you Monat.
