What if confidence isn’t about knowing the answer?
What if it’s about trusting yourself when you don’t?
That was one of my favourite takeaways from my conversation with Anca Neagoie on Confidence in Bloom.
Anca helps healthcare professionals communicate with confidence under pressure, particularly those navigating licensing exams, new cultures and working in a language that may not be their first.
We talked about something I see so often with women:
You can be incredibly capable and still second-guess yourself.
You can know exactly what you want to say and suddenly lose your words.
You can know you need a boundary… and still feel guilty for setting it.
And feeling guilty doesn’t necessarily mean you’re doing something wrong.
Sometimes it simply means you’re breaking an old rule about who you’re supposed to be.
That conversation about self-trust, finding your voice and becoming comfortable with uncertainty was such a good one.
Thank you, Anca, for joining me on Confidence in Bloom. I loved our conversation and I’m excited to share it with you all! 🌸

What if confidence isn’t about finally becoming fearless?
What if it’s about learning to trust yourself—even when you’re nervous, being judged, or wondering if you’re “ready”?
On the latest episode of Confidence in Bloom, I’m talking with Chanelle, founder of Chic and Charmed Boutique by Chanelle, who started her jewelry business at just 13.
Her journey is such a powerful reminder that confidence is built through practice:
✨ Speaking up
✨ Taking opportunities before you feel completely ready
✨ Learning from mistakes
✨ Setting boundaries around what you share
✨ Staying true to yourself when people have opinions
One of my favourite takeaways? You don’t have to wait until you feel confident to do the thing. Sometimes confidence comes because you did it.
Whether you’re building a business, changing careers, stepping into leadership, or simply learning to take up a little more space in your own life, this conversation has something for you.

What if confidence isn’t about being the loudest person in the room?
My latest conversation on Confidence in Bloom with Robin Sims-Allen reminds us that confidence often begins quietly—with honesty, healthy boundaries, and trusting ourselves enough to speak.
One of my favourite takeaways:
“Match the energy you’re receiving.”
When we stop over-giving and start honouring our own boundaries, we create healthier relationships and more authentic lives.
Robin also shares practical ways to process your thoughts before difficult conversations—whether that’s journaling, recording your thoughts, or simply giving yourself permission to be heard.
I hope this episode reminds you that your voice has value.

Your style is speaking before you ever say a word.
What if the clothes you wear could help you feel more confident, more visible, and more like yourself?
In this episode of Confidence in Bloom, I had the pleasure of speaking with Sandy Okamoto, owner and founder of Style Options, about how personal style is so much more than colours and clothing.
Sandy shared her 25+ years of experience helping women and men discover their signature style — and how dressing in a way that reflects who you truly are can change the way you show up in the world.
We talked about:
🌸 Why confidence starts with feeling comfortable in your own skin
🌸 How your wardrobe can reflect your personality
🌸 The difference between dressing for expectations and dressing authentically
🌸 Why it’s never too late to rediscover yourself
Your style is one of the ways you get to speak up and stand firm — without saying a word.
Listen to this episode of Confidence in Bloom and discover what your style might be saying about you.
Thank you, Sandy, for sharing your wisdom and your story.

What if the fear you’re feeling isn’t a warning…
What if it’s simply the discomfort of becoming who you’re meant to be?
This week’s Confidence in Bloom podcast with Adriana Mateescu explores one of my favorite topics: learning to distinguish fear from intuition.
One of the biggest takeaways?
Ask yourself:
• What is this fear trying to protect me from?
• What is it costing me to stay here?
• Is this based on today’s reality…or yesterday’s story?
Sometimes one honest question changes everything.
If you’ve been waiting until you feel fearless before making a change, this episode might be exactly what you need.

When has fear kept you playing small?

What if fear isn’t actually the problem?
In this powerful conversation, executive coach Stacey Vanthuyen shares why fear is often a symptom of something deeper: worry, doubt, and the beliefs we hold about ourselves.
We talked about:
✨ Why most people don’t fail because of strategy
✨ How subconscious beliefs shape our results
✨ The identity shifts required for lasting change
✨ Why confidence comes from action—not the other way around
✨ How to stop waiting until you’re “ready”
One of my favorite takeaways:
“Act before you feel ready.”
So many women spend years waiting for confidence, certainty, or permission. Stacey reminds us that growth happens when we move despite the fear.
If you’ve been holding yourself back from taking the next step in your life, career, health, or relationships, this episode is for you.
Listen now and let me know: What’s one thing you’ve been waiting too long to start?

On this week’s episode of Confidence in Bloom, I sat down with Silvia Daniele of Bloom Within Wellness for a powerful conversation about healing, courage, menopause, self-trust, and choosing authenticity over perfection.
Silvia shared:
💛 Her transition from traditional business into wellness work
💛 The health challenges that changed everything
💛 Why community and connection matter so deeply
💛 How fear keeps women quiet — and how courage helps us reclaim our voice
💛 The moment she realized she needed to get healthy for herself and her children
One of my favourite takeaways:
“The only way things work is by actually doing them.”
If you’ve ever struggled with self-doubt, visibility, perfectionism, or putting yourself last… this episode is for you.

Fear doesn’t always look like fear.
Sometimes it looks like overthinking.
Sometimes it looks like waiting until you feel “ready.”
Sometimes it looks like telling yourself you need one more qualification… one more course… one more confirmation.
In this episode of Confidence in Bloom, I sat down with entrepreneur and co-founder of Soultuary Wellness Center, Shawna MacNeil, to talk about what it really takes to move through fear in business and life.
And one truth that stood out?
Women often wait until they feel 9/10 qualified before they apply…
while men often apply at 2/10.
That gap alone changes everything.
We also explored:
✨ How fear shows up in the nervous system
✨ Why imposter syndrome is almost universal
✨ How courage looks in real-time business decisions
✨ And how Shawna challenged municipal bylaws to save over $160,000 in her wellness center build
This conversation is a reminder that courage isn’t loud—it’s often just a decision to take the next step anyway.

What does it really mean to choose courage over fear?
In this powerful episode of Confidence in Bloom, I sat down with Carol Metz-Murray, founder of the Naked Leadership Institute, to talk about resilience, healing, authentic leadership, and the courage it takes to reclaim your voice.
Carol shared her deeply personal journey through trauma, burnout, and transformation — including the moment she made what she calls “20 seconds of insane courage” to completely change her life.
We also explored:
🌸 Why fear is designed to protect us
🌸 How courage exists alongside fear
🌸 The balance of feminine and masculine energy in leadership
🌸 Why women are being called to step into collaboration over competition
🌸 Small courageous steps that create massive transformation
One of my favorite reminders from this conversation:
“There’s greatness inside each and every one of you.”
This episode is a beautiful reminder that courage doesn’t always look loud — sometimes it’s simply taking the next small step forward.
