One of the biggest misconceptions is waiting until the lines become deep folds before starting treatment.

The glabellar lines (also known as the “11s” between your brows) are caused by repeated muscle movement over time. In the early stages, these lines appear only when you frown—but as the skin loses collagen and elasticity, they can become etched into the skin and remain visible even at rest.

Once the lines become deeply etched, Botox alone may not completely soften them. In some cases, restoring the area may also require dermal filler or other collagen-stimulating treatments to improve the crease.
