❤️ Cherry angiomas are common lesions that often appear with age. The good news? They can be easily treated!

I offer thermocoagulation (advanced electrolysis), cryotherapy, and laser treatments for cherry angiomas. For this one, thermocoagulation was the preferred choice because tattoo pigment can complicate laser treatment.

The best modality depends on the location and individual lesion. 🔬

A little before & immediately after ✨

These cherry angiomas on the neck were treated using advanced electrolysis. Immediately after treatment, you can see the area looks darker with some surrounding redness and slight swelling. That’s part of the immediate treatment response as the blood vessel is coagulated.

The appearance will continue to change as the area settles and heals. Depending on the size and individual response, cherry angiomas may require 1–3 treatments.

It’s always so satisfying to see the immediate difference, but the healing process is where the real transformation happens. 🤍

Did you know the filament used during electrolysis is selected to match the diameter of the hair being treated? It also needs to be inserted to the appropriate depth of the follicle so it can reach the root of the hair.
