Canadian Hair Transplant Centre
*Formerly Sharma Skin & Hair Surgery*
Led by Dr. Anil Sharma, MD and his expert team, following International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery protocols.
Both FUE and FUT techniques are available based on individual candidacy assessment. We strive to accentuate and enhance your natural beauty through carefully tailored, non-invasive treatments for each patient.
Creating a natural hairline isn't about a one-size-fits-all formula; it’s about listening, understanding individual features, and respecting the natural anatomy of each person.
In this video, Dr. Sharma shares a candid look at the planning phase, sharing a few foundational principles and simple techniques used to guide our custom designs. We are incredibly fortunate to do this work every day and help guide our patients on their journeys.
Thank you for allowing us to share a piece of our process with you.

Precision is the foundation of a successful hair restoration. While every treatment plan relies on clinical experience, we utilize TrichoScan technology to ensure that our approach is supported by objective metrics.
TrichoScan is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that uses high-definition imaging to analyze hair density, thickness, and growth cycles. By integrating this digital analysis into our consultations, we move beyond visual assessments alone, providing a more detailed and accurate understanding of your unique hair patterns.
This approach allows for a consultation backed by measurable insights. It provides a clearer look at your candidacy for a hair transplant and helps us build a more accurate roadmap for your restoration.

Hairline design is where art meets anatomy. In part one of this series, Dr. Sharma demonstrates the principles behind a natural-looking hairline and how he plans for a successful result.
It is important to get this correct and take each patient's unique anatomy into consideration. A hairline that looks "fixed" or too aggressive often fails the test of time; the goal is to balance a youthful appearance with a design that allows you to age gracefully.

Nearly six months ago, we rebranded from The Sharma Clinic to the Canadian Hair Transplant Centre. It has been an incredibly busy transition, and we are deeply grateful for the patience and support our community has shown our team during this time.
Thank you for sticking with us. We are honored to continue this work and look forward to the years ahead.

You were the same person before the transplant, but sometimes restoring your hair gives you the confidence to stop focusing on it, to stop obsessing, and just move forward. It’s not really about the hair - it’s about feeling something again, and for many patients, that’s where the real change happens.

It’s good to be back. 🏥
After a busy season moving into our new office, we are thrilled to be back sharing these educational journeys with you. Today, we’re following a very special case: a very kind 31-year-old police officer.
He came to us with Norwood Stage 4/5 hair loss, looking to reframe his face and restore the confidence that matches his athletic, driven lifestyle.
*The Strategy*
Because he is young and cognizant of future hair loss, we opted for a comprehensive 2-day hair transplant procedure.
- Day 1: We focused on the front and mid-section, performing a "dense pack" to create a strong, natural hairline.
- Day 2: We shifted focus to the crown and mid-section, adding density while carefully protecting his existing natural follicles.
We used 0.7mm and 0.8mm blades to ensure we were "hedging" his future reserves - keeping the donor area healthy in case he needs more work years down the road.
Stay tuned as we follow his progress from the surgery chair to the final results. It’s an honour to help those who serve us.

PatientStory MensHealth HairTransplantCanada
Dr. Sharma has seen thousands of patients over the years and in his experience, almost everyone comes in for one core reason.
It’s not just about hair.
In Part 1, he breaks down what’s really driving that decision and reveals the underlying motivation behind it. Keep an open mind - this is just the starting point.
In Parts 2 and 3, we’ll go deeper into what this actually means and how it plays out before and after the procedure.

“Natural” gets thrown around a lot in hair restoration. But what does it actually mean?
A truly natural result isn’t about chasing density or copying someone else’s hairline. It’s about respecting facial structure, age, donor limitations, and how hair will evolve years from now. The goal is for your transplant to look unnoticeable not just at 6 or 12 months, but for decades. Under harsh lighting, in motion, and as you age.
Here at Canadian Hair Transplant Centre, natural means intentional design, conservative planning, and results that blend seamlessly into your existing hair. The best work is the kind no one questions, because it simply looks like you.
If you’re researching FUE and FUT hair transplants in Edmonton, Canada and want results that don’t scream “procedure,” this is where the conversation should start.
