LUNAR ECLIPSE (Partial) / FULL MOON in PISCES

Eclipses.

They’re the *times-up* in astrology.

Why?

Because they are triggered by the Nodes. And the Nodes, as well as being karmic points, are trigger points themselves – towards a Future Direction courtesy of the North Node, and a Release for the South Node.

This Pisces Eclipse is a North Node Eclipse – but the North Node is now sitting in the Sign adjacent, in Aquarius. And to say that Aquarius energy and Pisces energy have nothing in common would not be an understatement, at all.

Still, they actually do have something in common, right now at least, don’t they? This Pisces Eclipse.

And in keeping with the *times-up* theme, is the other part – the *ready or not, here I come* bit.

Can we ever really see what’s coming when an Eclipse impacts a planet or point in our chart/world, and therefore prepare?

Yes, we have our impacted planet/point (max 2deg orb) as a guide, and also how that planet works/what it rules in our chart as one breadcrumb.

Yes, we have the House our impacted planet/point sits in, and therefore the House that is impacted by the Eclipse, as another.

But Eclipse energy is erratic, sudden, left-field – which means while we might be anticipating or even hoping for a particular impact, we’re often left with a ‘didn’t see that coming’ outcome.

That’s Typical Eclipse Energy.

And then there are two factors which accentuate the above even more for this particular Lunar Eclipse.

The first is the very nature of Pisces energy itself. Fluid. Illusionary. Layered. And often, impossible to pinpoint.

And then there is the exact square from this Eclipse to the Planet of Change & The Unexpected, Uranus, now Stationing in Gemini.

An Unpredictable Eclipse Square to an Unpredictable Planet.

That’s a whole lot of Unpredictable!!

And if anyone thought that Pisces energy was a gentle energy, that line-up should, for this event anyway, scuttle that thought.

At the sake of reinforcing it all, from the Weekly Preview:
“If we’ve ever thought that Pisces energy is fluid, easy, abstract, then this Eclipse, despite emanating from a Mutable Sign, might remind us that Tsunamis form in Water. And apply that theory to any planets/points affected, particularly those on the Pisces/Virgo Axis.”

Yes, if you are directly impacted by this energy – and again, directly impacted would mean a natal planet/point within a 2deg orb at absolute max, or a Progressed Planet within one degree (don’t go looking for impact where there isn’t any!!) – a tsunami of energy & thus upheaval is apt.

And all this without thus far mentioning Mercury’s opposition – razor-sharp Mercury in Virgo, which will have just completed a Cazimi with the Sun – and which truly turns this Lunar Eclipse into the Big Cross Roads that is a T-Square.

And then the Pisces energy itself. A Sign which melds, which layers, which releases.

And a North Node Eclipse = Forward Pathways instigated.

Both Traditional and Modern Rulers of this Eclipse – Jupiter and Neptune – are in tight aspects with Saturn and Pluto respectively. Which puts a fair bit of dynamic support into the foundations of this Eclipse – a handy back-pocket of energy, for the if & when that tsunami swells.

Enjoy watching this one across the Americas, Europe, Africa & the very western parts of Asia – and if you, like me, are directly impacted (I have 3 impact points within 2deg, one almost exact in Pisces) – then don those floating devices. Nowish 😅

One hell of an Eclipse as a swansong in the Pisces realm until the next series in 8 years’ time – be prepared for a little ‘freefall’ – and to go where this huge energy flow takes you.

THIS WEEK’s BIG NEWS …
Is our Total Solar Eclipse in Leo. And, as we might expect from an energy emanating from Leo, it’s unaspected. The Moon & the Sun Spot Lit on Leo’s Centre Stage as the Moon blocks the Sun.

Pure, unadulterated Leo Solar Eclipse Energy in play.

Sitting at just over 20deg of our 5th Sign, this Eclipse is particularly relevant to Europe – Greenland, Iceland, Portugal, Spain and parts of Russia will be the only places where Totality occurs – but all of Europe will experience this Eclipse to a greater extent than anywhere else, which tells us to keep an eye on European activity – particularly around themes of Change & Unpredictability – through the next 6 months.

And of course, if you have a planet/point at 20deg Leo or the other Fixed Signs – Ta**us, Scorpio & Aquarius – in particular, this Eclipse has your name on it.

We have an overload of hotness this week with aspects coming at us from everywhere, but the pick has got to be next weekend’s Mercury/Jupiter conjunction at 10deg Leo. Yes, it’s pretty quick – but this is one of those energies worth bottling. The I’m Great Vintage. And what a fine vintage it is!!

Also a fair few feather-rufflers on the agenda this week, the highlight of course being the discomfort and discombobulation that those ‘suffering eclipse’ will know only too well (it’s real) – but also on this radar is Mars’ move into Cancer which, traditionally, puts Mars into debilitated state. Mushy Mars? Yeah, nah. So, beware tears, tantrums, and the occasional feelings of … frustration .. helplessness .. as Mars tries to express itself in the watery environs and misses the mark. But hey, Cancer is a Cardinal Sign, so it’s not all a lost cause. No, really …

And finally …
I did warn you last week that the energy overload was coming – it’s here. By the bucketload!!!

It’s not just about the Eclipse this week – though that, in fairness, does take both the centre stage and a lot of space – it’s also about the triggers left, right and centre from the personal planets, shared pretty equally by Mercury, Venus and Mars, with Mercury taking the cake next weekend via the conjunction to Jupiter.

Any way you look at this week, it’s a Big Week. It’s a Busy Week. And it’s a week where, for some of us with a planet/point around the 20deg mark of Leo or the other Fixed Signs in particular, will have Change delivered to our world, likely via the most surprising of circumstances.

But we shouldn’t be so hypnotized by the razzle and dazzle emanating from Leo that we forget about the very active triggers to Uranus, Neptune and Pluto this week – they may be quick, but they are all definite pings in a week of PING.

And while those planets might have moved on from their very recent Bucket Formation, the Neptune/Pluto sextile, with both planets Retrograde, is gaining momentum.

That sextile – let’s call it the sextile of Powerful Dreams for now – exacts in the middle of next month.

But they’re within degree and have been for a while now – since Neptune Stationed Retrograde back at the beginning of July – and as I said, it’s only gaining momentum.

Powerful (Pluto) Dreams (Neptune).
Evolutionary (Pluto) Visions (Neptune).
Transformational (Pluto) Ideals (Neptune).

Many more possible translations but they’ll do for now to get you into the head space – and, as a very active sextile, these two powerhouses are working pretty harmoniously together.

So yes. While this week may indeed belong to the Eclipse, we’ve got a big back pocket full of energy in play too. And now the 03deg zone of the Air & Fire Signs is coming into full PING.
