I think I needed to stop performing “fine” long enough to figure out what was actually going on underneath it.
Life has changed pretty dramatically for me in the span of a year.
Some of it was chosen. Some of it absolutely was not.
And somewhere in the middle of all the grief, rebuilding, questioning, working, exhaustion, creating, and trying to figure out what comes next… I realized something:
I don’t want to go back to who I was.
I want to meet who I’m becoming.
So this is me, slowly coming back into the room.
Social anxiety and all. 😅
A little less polished.
A little more honest.
A lot more myself.
Yes — I’m doing makeup!
I want to give a huge thank you to YEG WEDDING MAKEUP, HAIR & MORE ✨ for being the ongoing safe haven in this storm, for welcoming me back as an Executive Makeup Artist again after I left to build the company I’m now legally fighting over 😅
WHAT A TWIST…
But I’m so grateful!
They filled my calendar with weddings & events that keep my legal fees topped up, my rent paid, and my heart happy with every referral and booking. 😂🖤
And yes — I’m still doing lashes!
After an expensive little review of a non-compete agreement with my lawyer, I’ve been advised that I am absolutely allowed to continue doing what I love.
So… no. I will not be intimidating myself out of earning a living. 😈

For a ladies night out we had such a blast. On Saturday nights they have a live piano bar taking requests. Lindsey Shorey was such a vibe!
It was really just the service that lacked at this place, and our server was great - just his first day on the job so unfortunately there were some hiccups and mishaps. But nothing that would prevent us from returning.
Great photo ops too.
