✨ A Little Life Update ✨

I wanted to share a quick update and say a heartfelt thank you to everyone for your patience, kindness, and understanding over the past several weeks.

I'm happy to say that my dad is back home from the hospital and continuing his recovery. My foot has also healed well enough that I've successfully completed my first week back at work on a part-time basis!

The past little while has been incredibly challenging with the loss of my sweet Buddha, my dad's hospitalization, and my own injury all happening so close together. Your support, flexibility, and compassion have meant more to me than I can put into words. Truly.

For the next little while, I'll continue working a reduced schedule as I gradually build back up to my regular hours. Thank you for your continued patience as I work through the remaining appointment adjustments and get everyone back on track.

I truly have the most wonderful clients, and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️

Hello everyone,

I wanted to provide an update on my recovery. Unfortunately, I will need more time away from work while my foot continues to heal from the axe injury.

Although it has now been a week since the injury occurred, the wound has still not fully sealed.

My doctors have advised that I continue avoiding weight-bearing activities to give the injury the best chance to heal properly. The arterial blood supply to the foot remains intact, which is encouraging, but the full extent of any tendon or nerve damage cannot be assessed until further along in the healing process.

I sincerely apologize for this extended absence and any inconvenience it may cause. I greatly appreciate your patience, understanding, and support during this time. Please know that I am committed to returning to work and serving my clients as soon as it is safe to do so, and I will continue to provide updates as my recovery progresses.

Thank you for your understanding. ♥️

To my valued clients,

I want to sincerely apologize to everyone who has been affected by my recent absences and schedule changes. I truly hoped I would be able to return to work shortly after Buddha’s passing, but attempting to come back only four days later proved to be much more difficult than I anticipated.

At the same time, my Dad remains hospitalized in Centennial Care Centre for Brain Injury and Mental Health, and being his medical advocate with the hospital being three hours away has added a significant amount of emotional and mental stress. Between grief, exhaustion, and ongoing family responsibilities, everything has unfortunately reached a point where I need to properly step away and focus on healing.

I will be taking the next week off and will re-evaluate things from there. My goal is to take the time I need to support my Dad, care for myself, and return in a healthier place so I can properly serve and support my clientele again.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and kindness during these incredibly difficult and unexpected circumstances. It means more than I can express.

I wanted to share a small update that I am beginning a gradual return-to-work approach this Thursday and into the coming weekend.

This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional period personally, and I’ve been doing my best to navigate it while also making sure I’m taking the time needed to care for myself and our family properly. Because of that, scheduling may continue to look a little different for a while as I ease back into a sustainable rhythm.

For clients who's appointments were affected due to both hospitalizations, I will strive to create appointment times for you in as timely of a manner as I can. I will be in touch.

I want to sincerely thank everyone for the patience, understanding, kindness, and flexibility you’ve shown me during this time. It has meant more than I can properly express, and I’m deeply grateful for the support while I work through everything and slowly find my footing again.

*Update*

Dad remains in Hospital. Our beloved Buddha passed away peacefully in our arms Sunday evening. She was such a special and dear soul and will be missed terribly. I'm not sure how to process this pain occurring all at the same time.

This is one of the most difficult times in our lives. I appreciate the continued patience as we work through healing and continuing to support our human family in the mean time as well.
I will be in contact with clients this week and the next to confirm appointment times.

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know that due to two unexpected family emergencies happening at the same time, I unfortunately need to cancel all upcoming appointments for an unknown period of time while I focus on my family.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience during this difficult time. I will reach out as soon as I am able to resume re-booking appointments. I am hoping that will be within the next week or so.

Thank you so much for your support and understanding.

🤍 A Gentle Reminder This Holiday Season 🤍

The Christmas season can be tender for many. If you’re carrying grief, sadness, or simply feeling low, please know that you’re not alone — and that it’s okay if this time of year feels different.

A few gentle ways to care for yourself right now:

✨ Lower the bar — you don’t have to feel festive or “hold it together”
✨ Create small moments of comfort, like warmth, soft music, or quiet time
✨ Stay connected in simple ways — a text, a short walk, or shared silence counts
✨ Allow yourself extra rest — grief and heavy emotions are tiring
✨ Let emotions come and go without judgment

If this season feels heavy, gentle care for your body and heart can make a difference. You are always welcome here.

Sending warmth and compassion to you this season. 🤍

I've brought in Serene Life's Water Free Stone Heater Bag as a new way to incorporate Basalt Hot Stone Therapy & Gua Sha into Treatment Sessions this Winter Season. ❄️☃️😍

Hot Stone Therapy is a great way to offer deep relaxation by using heated stones to ease muscle tension, relieve pain, improve circulation, and reduce stress. It's a great tool to work with to improve chronic pain, anxiety and stiffness. Coupled with Gua Sha we can also stimulate lymphatic drainage. 😄

As we cozy into the festive season, I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude for your trust and support this year. Being part of your wellness journey has truly been a joy, and I’m so thankful for every session we’ve shared.

The holidays bring sparkle and celebration, but they can also bring extra busyness, tension, and long to-do lists. Please remember to care for your well-being, too. A little pause, a little breath, and a little time for yourself can make all the difference as we step into a brand-new year.
Your body is your home — treat it gently, treat it with compassion.

Even an hour of dedicated relaxation can melt away tension, soften the mind, and bring a sense of clarity and ease — a much-needed reset during this busy time of year.

Thank you again for being part of this wonderful community. I’m wishing you and your loved ones a warm, peaceful Christmas, a joyful holiday season, and a new year filled with rest, comfort, and gentle moments of happiness.
