This beautiful color was created by stylist, Ava Chatfield. She did half head of fine weaved foils mainly in the front of her hair and around her face and then pulled some of the lightener through towards the end to brighten her up!

Ava grew up in East Hants and is proud to still call Belnan home. After graduating from Hants East Rural High School, she recently completed her studies at the Academy of Cosmetology, graduating as a Hair Stylist in August.

Ava is passionate about the hair industry and loves creating beautiful, personalized looks for her clients. Her favourite services include blonding, layered haircuts, balayage, foliage, children’s and senior cuts, face framing, and adding that special “money piece” to brighten and enhance your look. ✨

When Ava isn’t behind the chair, you’ll often find her dancing! 💃 She has been dancing since the age of three and continues to dance and teach locally at Dance Zone in Elmsdale.

With her friendly, hardworking, positive, and outgoing personality, Ava is excited to bring her passion and creativity to the Strides team. We’re so happy to have her with us and can’t wait for you to meet her!
